From May 20 to 27, 2018, a group of teachers and students from Charleston College visited SWJTU for a seven-day summer program.

The first half of the program is mainly about visiting and learning in Xipu and Jiuli campus. On the morning of 21st, the teachers of our school held a lecture to introduce the general situation of China, which enabled them to have a general understanding of China and they also had in-depth communication with the Chinese students. The next two days, they visited Xipu and Jiuli campus. And moreover, we hired professional teacher to teach them Chinese traditional folk songs and Chinese traditional boxing, tai chi and they also visited the State-key Laboratory of Traction Power and watched students' basketball match of attached school of our university.

The rest time of study tour, they have visited Qingcheng mountain, arrived at chengdu research base of giant panda breeding, experienced hotpot and watched the sichuan opera performances, to fully feel the Chinese local conditions and customs, and deepened the cognition and understanding of China.

When it comes to the feelings of this tour, teachers and students of the university of Charleston have said that the short-term travel project really makes them feel the national historical and cultural connotation and give them a very good and deep impression.
