At 15:50 on March 29^th, SIE, the Security Department and the Scenic Fire Brigade hosted a disaster’s prevention and reduction emergency drill together. All international students attended to the drill.

At 4pm, the drill began. Students were protecting themselves in the department under the simulated earthquake occasion when the first alarm sounded. Then the second alarm began. All the students left the department in order with moist towel and moved to safety zone.

The soldiers from the Scenic Fire Brigade also simulated the relief scene. They rescued the international student who was trapped in the building. Soldiers also demonstrated how to use a fire extinguisher. Students put out the fire with the extinguisher under their guidance.

Through this drill, international students have grasped the correct way to deal with an accident and effectively improve their emergency response capabilities.
