27th June 2017, the School of International Education held Graduation Ceremony for the first group of international students on Emei campus. 35 international students from 15 countries and regions have passed the final exams and qualified to graduate.
The chairwoman Ms. He Ping made a speech on the ceremony. She expressed her congratulations and proud to international students, delivered her gratitude to all the teachers and staffs helped the students, and gave her wishes to international students.
The Chinese teacher Ms. Fan Ying spoke as the teachers’ representative. She recalled the teaching process of this year, and encouraged the students’ achievements.
Uzebikistan student Nazirjon Khamdamov made a speech on behalf of all the international students. He was very happy to study Chinese language and culture in SWJTU, and also very proud of speaking fluent Chinese now. He expressed his love and gratitude to all the teachers.
After watching graduation album and videos, Ms. He and Mr. Li granted certificates to students. All the faculty and students took a picture on campus, and had farewell luncheon.
