Short-term Programs
The School of International Education of SWJTU provides various short-term programs upon learners’ demands. Feel free to contact us so that we can provide customized solutions to meet your needs.
1. Chinese Language Learning & Culture Experience Program
This kind of program can be highly customized. Besides usual school time, summer and winter schools are also available from July to August and January to February every year. The programs mainly focus on Chinese Communication. Participants will have rigorous training in Chinese language and culture. Lessons of Chinese painting, calligraphy, Chinese folk songs, Tai Chi, Chinese paper cutting and cooking will also be offered. Trips to visit famous cultural sights and scenery spots will be arranged during weekends.

a. Registration: 400 RMB/person
b. Insurance: 220 RBM/person
c. Tuition: 1,000—7,000 RMB/person/week (Depending on group size and learners’ demands)
d. Travel expenses: Depending on traveling plan
e. Other miscellaneous cost: around 100 RMB
f. Accommodation fee: 350RMB/2 persons/day (twin room)
Note: Registration fee is not refundable. Once the payment is made, all fees are not refundable; one US dollar equals approximately to 7 RMB.
2. Engineering Education and Internship Program
SWJTU is a leading university in China in fields of transportation industry, railway engineering and economics & management. As an important part of SWJTU Summer Program, the engineering internship program provides a contextual learning environment that validates a curriculum of study and networks of certain Chinese industries for students’ future career development.

Fees:
a. Registration: 400 RMB/person
b. Insurance: 220 RBM/person
c. Training Fee:1,000—10,000 RMB/person/week (Depending on group size and customer demands)
d. Internship uniform: 400 RMB
e. Travel expenses: Depending on traveling plan
f. Other miscellaneous cost: around 100 RMB
g. Interpretation: 300 RMB/person (for the factory interpretation every day)
h. Accommodation fee: 350RMB/2 persons/day (twin room)

3. Courses, Experiences and Trips
Students can choose from a variety of courses, experiences and trips to form a unique program of their own which may last from 1 to 5 weeks.
