The first session “The Tender Love of Lotus”of Chu Kochen Institute and the 15th western cultural week of E’mei campus and the talent show of the international students from SIE (the School of International Education) foreign poetry party, cosponsored by Chu Kochen Institute of Southwest Jiaotong University, the foreign language academy and the international education academy and undertaken by the foreign language association of Chu Kochen Institute, the student union of business English department and the Chinese class of SIE, was successfully held in Yanghua Lecture Hall, on May 18, 2017.
The Secretary of SIE, He Ping, teacher Tang Min and Liu Han showed up at this activity. At that special night, they got together to share the memorable moment and see the beauty of crashing among different cultures!
“The earth is colorful because of the existence of different races of people.”International students from SIE brought us wonderful shows.
We enjoyed and closed to Romanian local conditions from the song“Prima Oara”, felt the long history, geographic breadth of Mongolia from the song“Sar Shig Holiln Gazar”, and witnessed glory from the Arabic poem “New Neighbor”.
At this activity, students from business English department of foreign language academy brought us the poetry "What is success"given in four different languages. And thanks to their wonderful performance, we refreshed the true meaning of success.
Later we enjoyed the show of singing and dancing performed by students from Chu Kochen Institute.
We firmly believe that the world is colorful because of the existence of difference, the earth is beautiful because of the existence of different races of people, and our university will become more glorious because of the international students’ coming! With the warm applause and cheers, the party came to an end.
