三、申请条件

1. 基本要求

（1） 申请人必须为持有外国护照的非中国国籍公民，且身体和心理健康。

（2）申请来华攻读博士学位者，应具有硕士学位或同等学历，学习成绩优异，年龄原则上不超过40岁；

申请来华攻读硕士学位者，应具有学士学位或同等学历，学习成绩优良，年龄原则上不超过35岁；

申请来华攻读学士学位者，应具有高中或同等学历文凭，年龄原则上不超过25岁。

（3）语言能力要求：

申请中文授课理工科类专业时，汉语水平须达到HSK5级(≥180)；申请中文授课文科及管理类专业时，汉语水平须达到HSK4级(≥180)。曾使用中文为教学语言获得高中毕业证或中国高校学位的，无须提供《汉语水平考试》（HSK）证明；

非英语母语者申请英语授课项目时，须提交以下材料之一：①英语语言能力考试成绩单（雅思6.0分以上或托福网考80分以上或同等水平）；②原大学出具的证明文件，证明前序学位课程以英语授课；③其他能证明英语能力的文件。

（4）在学术能力和其他相关条件方面符合西南交通大学的招生要求。

III. Eligibility

Basic Requirements

(1) Non-Chinese citizens with a valid foreign passport, in good physical and mental health.

(2) Academic and Age Requirements:

Doctoral applicants: Should hold a Master's degree or equivalent, with excellent academic records, and be under the age of 40.

Master's applicants: Should hold a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with excellent academic records, and be under the age of 35.

Undergraduate applicants: Should hold a high school diploma or equivalent, and be under the age of 25.

(3) Language Proficiency Requirements:

For Chinese-taught programs:

Science/Engineering: HSK Level 5 (score ≥180).

Liberal Arts/Management: HSK Level 4 (score ≥180).

Applicants who have obtained a high school diploma or a previous degree from an institution where the primary instruction language of instruction was Chinese are exempt from submitting HSK certificates.

For English-taught programs (for non-native speakers): Must provide one of the following:

① IELTS (≥6.0), TOEFL iBT (≥80), or equivalent score report.

② Official documentation from a previous university certifying that the prior degree program was taught entirely in English.

③ Other valid proof of English proficiency.

(4) Meet SWJTU's specific academic ability and other relevant admission requirements for the chosen program.

2. 国籍要求： 需符合《中华人民共和国国籍法》及中国教育部教外[2020]12号文的相关规定。

Nationality Requirements: Applicants must meet the relevant regulations of the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China and the Chinese Ministry of Education Document [2020] No. 12.

四、申请录取流程

1.  发起申请：申请者网上发起申请，并支付报名费。

注意：报名费为400元人民币，一经支付，一律不予退还，未支付报名费申请无效。

2. 初步审核：根据入学要求审核申请资格。

3. 学术审核：对申请者学术能力进行审核。

4. 专家评审：专家组对通过初审和学术审核的申请者进行专家评审，按照择优录取的原则进行录取。

5. 获得申请结果：申请者可关注申请平台和电子邮件，及时了解申请结果。被录取者可通过申请系统下载电子版正式录取通知书。

IV. Application and Admission Procedure

1. Online Application: Submit the application via the online system and pay the application fee.

*Note: The application fee is 400 RMB. Once paid, it is non-refundable. Applications without payment will be considered invalid.*

2. Initial Review: Verification of application eligibility based on admission requirements.

3. Academic Review: Assessment of the applicant's academic capabilities.

4. Expert Panel Review: Applications that pass the initial and academic reviews will be evaluated by an expert panel. Admission is competitive and based on merit.

5. Receiving Results: Applicants should check the application platform and their email for results. Admitted students can download the official electronic Admission Notice from the application system.

五、申请材料要求

1. 个人有效普通护照信息页。护照有效期须至2027年3月1日及以后。

2. 最高学历的毕业证书。应届毕业生提交所在学校出具的预计毕业证明原件。中、英文以外版本须提供经公证的翻译件。

3. 前序学习阶段全部课程成绩单。中、英文以外版本须提供经公证的翻译件。

4. 外国人体格检查表（参考附件2体检表格式）

5. 本科项目申请者须参加由中国教育部国家留学基金管理委员会组织的“来华留学本科入学学业水平测试”（China Scholastic Competency Assessment，详情请访问官方网站（www.csca.cn），并提供CSCA测试成绩单原件。

硕士、博士申请者须提供两封推荐函（副教授及以上）

6. 申请者需提供汉语或英语能力证明。

7. 学习计划。

8. 无犯罪记录证明。

9. 《监护人保证书》。至2026年9月1日未满18周岁的申请人须提交该文件。监护人应为在中国大陆成都市境内居住、有经济来源的成年人。

V. Required Application Documents

1. Scanned copy of the information page of a valid personal passport. The passport must be valid until at least March 1, 2027.

2. Graduation Certificate of the Highest Academic Degree Obtained. Prospective graduates should submit an original Pre-Graduation Certificate issued by their current institution. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized translation.

3. Official Academic Transcripts from the Previous Study Period. Documents in languages other than Chinese or English must be accompanied by a notarized translation.

4. Foreigner Physical Examination Form (please use the format provided in the attached 2 template).

5. For Undergraduate Applicants: A passing score on the China Scholastic Competency Assessment (CSCA test), organized by the China Scholarship Council (CSC), is required. Please provide the original CSCA score report.

For Master's and Ph.D. Applicants: Two letters of recommendation are required (from associate professors or higher).

6. Proof of Chinese or English Language Proficiency.

7. Study Plan.

8. Certificate of No Criminal Record.

9. Guardian's Guarantee Statement. This is required for applicants who will be under 18 years of age by September 1, 2026. The guardian must be an adult with a stable income, residing within Chengdu, mainland China.

六、 其它注意事项

1. 请确保申请系统中填写的信息真实有效，上传的材料完整无误。一旦申请提交后，不再接受补充材料。请持续关注申请系统的审核状态变化及个人邮箱。

2. 一经录取，直至入学报到完成前，护照信息不可更改。

3. 学生须严格按照西南交通大学要求办理入学、注册手续。学校将在入学报到时核验学生的护照、签证、学历证书原件。如不符合报到时的相关材料审核要求，将被取消入学资格。

4. 学生被录取后不可变更姓名及国籍身份。

5. 凡出现弄虚作假、徇私舞弊者，一经查实，将取消报考、录取或入学资格。已报到注册的学生，将被开除学籍。

VI. Important Notes

1. Ensure all information provided in the application system is accurate and all uploaded documents are complete and authentic. No supplementary materials will be accepted after submission. Monitor your application status and email regularly.

2. Passport information cannot be changed after admission until enrollment is completed.

3. Admitted students must strictly follow SWJTU's procedures for registration and enrollment. The university will verify original documents (passport, visa, academic certificates) upon registration. Failure to meet verification requirements will result in disqualification from enrollment.

4. Changes to name or nationality are not permitted after admission.

5. Any form of fraud or misconduct will lead to immediate disqualification from the application process, revocation of admission, or expulsion if discovered after enrollment.
